Eccles Organ Festival Recital Tyler Boehmer (Bethany College, Lindsborg, KS, USA) Music by Mendelssohn, Franck and Morel Tyler Boehmer has quickly begun to distinguish himself as a rising star and whose high standard of performance and has been recognized in several international organ competitions, including the 2022 Concours d’orgue de Québec, and the 2021 Canadian International Organ Competition. Tyler's elegant program is entitled "An Evening of Prayer" and features works by César Franck, Felix Mendelssohn and others.

Eccles Organ Festival Recital Brenda Portman (Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church, Cincinnati, OH, USA) Music by Bach, Farrington and Portman Following a decade of successes in performance competitions, and now with her compositions increasingly in demand, Brenda Portman has established a well-respected dual career as both a concert organist and composer. She serves at Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church and on the Organ Faculty at Xavier University in Cincinnati.

Organ Master Class with Felix Hell At Libby Gardner Concert Hall, University of Utah German concert organist will be leading a master class on 2003 Lively-Fulcher organ at Libby Gardner Concert Hall. The class is sponsored by the SLC Chapter of the American Guild of Organists and the University of Utah School of Music and will be offered free of charge. Brass and Organ Christmas Concert featuring the Brass Section of the Utah Symphony Music by Gabrieli, Bach, and traditional Carols Celebrate Christmas at the Cathedral of the Madeleine with a spectacular holiday performance which combines the powerful sound of the brass with that of the Eccles Memorial Organ and with the wonderful architecture of the Cathedral Church.

Music by Vierne, Bach and Dupré A native of Vietnam, Mr. Vu is Assistant Director of Music of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, in Washington, D.C.. The concert program will conclude with the entire Symphonie-Passion by Marcel Dupré.

Family Concert “Peter and the Wolf” An interactive concert for young listeners Children ages 3 to 10 and their families are invited to a performance of the famous musical tale “Peter and the Wolf” by Sergei Prokofiev, in a special pipe organ arrangement. This special concert is produced in collaboration with the Madeleine Choir School and is part of the Cathedral Family Concert Series.

Eccles Organ Festival Recital Aaron Miller (House of Hope Presbyterian Church, St. Paul, MN) Music by Bach, Mozart, Miller and improvisations Composer and intrepid improviser Aaron David Miller is the Director of Music at the House of Hope Presbyterian Church, St. Paul, MN. A recipient of numerous awards in performance and composition competitions, Dr. Miller was recently a featured performer for Pipedreams 40th Anniversary Concert.

Selected Sundays at 5:30 PM
Sunday Evening Organ Recitals Thirty-minute organ recitals are offered at 5:30 PM on selected Sundays, from September through April In the line of the cultural tradition of cathedrals as centers for the arts, the Cathedral of the Madeleine offers organ recitals featuring resident organists and visitors on selected Sunday afternoons at 5:30 PM from September through May. These last for 30 minutes and are free of charge.
