Ilona Kubiaczyk-Adler
(Poland)

Ilona has been recognized in several international organ competitions and maintains an active performance schedule throughout Europe and North America. She currently serves as Director of Music at Pinnacle Presbyterian Church, Scottsdale, AZ.

Ilona’s concert program, entitled “Music of Eastern Europe and the Americas” will feature rarely-heard works from Latvia, Poland, Ukraine, Brazil, Mexico, and the US, alongside more familiar compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach.

Nathaniel Gumbs

(New York City, NY)

Nathaniel Gumbs is a native of the Bronx, NY, and has performed throughout the United States and abroad, including Antigua, St. Thomas, Ghana, Paris, and Munich, and is consistently gathering new fans and followers. Gumbs has been recently appointed Director of Music at The Riverside Church in New York City.

Gumbs’ recital, will feature works by Mendelssohn, Franck and Haywood.

Emma Whitten
(Garden Grove, CA)

Emma Whitten serves as Associate Organist at Christ Cathedral (formerly Crystal Cathedral) in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange County, California. Emma specializes in early Baroque and contemporary repertoire and maintains an intense performance schedule across the United States and internationally.

Emma will present a program spanning from the Baroque to modern music, and featuring works by several female composers of the 20th century.

Richard Fitzgerald
(Columbus, OH)

Richard Fitzgerald is Director of Music of Saint Joseph Cathedral, Columbus, Ohio. His work as an improviser has been recognized both in the U.S. and abroad and in several international competitions.

Richard’s concert program will feature works by Louis-Nicolas Clérambault, Johann Sebastian Bach and some of his own compositions.

Family Concert
"Discovering Handel"

This engaging program will introduce younger listeners to the life and work of George Frideric Handel through music, storytelling, an interactive exploration of the organ and with the help of the Choristers of The Madeleine Choir School. This performance is intended for children ages 3 to 10 and is produced in collaboration with The Madeleine Choir School and is part of the Cathedral Family Concert Series.

Karol Mossakowski

(France)

The newly appointed titular organist at Saint-Sulpice Church in Paris, France, Karol Mossakowski is renowned for both his interpretation and improvisation skills. Mossakowski is also professor of improvisation at the Higher School of Music in San Sebastián, Spain, and Artist in Residence at the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, Poland.

Karol’s concert will feature works by J. S. Bach, improvisations and the entire Fifth Symphony by Charles-Marie Widor.

Julian Petrallia
(Salt Lake City, UT)

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Julian Petrallia is the Assistant Organist at the Cathedral of the Madeleine. In addition to his work at the Cathedral, he serves as a Choral and Music Instructor at The Madeleine Choir School.

Julian’s recital will close the 32rd Season with a program featuring Kenneth Leighton's
Missa de Gloria and several other works.
